Creating a new template

This page shows how to create a new template from scratch.

If instead you want to create a template by copying an existing template and then modifying the copy, see Copying a template to use as a starting point

To create a new template, go the Resource Templates tab and click New template.

Now you have a blank template recipe.

Template metadata and Property Templates: Types of fields and options for each explain how to fill in all the fields.

When you're done, click Save to save your template, which will then be listed in the Resource Templates tab for all to use.
