Frackin Universe 4.19.7 (for Starbound 1.1.1)
4.19.7
- Removed molecave and coraltemple underground dungeons since they suck ass in their current state.
- Removed sunken hylotl dungeons from surface layer of Strange Seas.
- Ore detector now shows moonstone as green rather than yellow.
- Bone spear alt has been replaced. rather than Flurry, you instead get a swift thrust that that counts as a bow hit and inflicts 8s of bleed damage. This will allow you to hunt with only a spear and have no need for a bow. Note that it has a high energy cost.
- Bleed effect now has better animation to inform on it being active.
- Bleed effect damage adjusted to scale properly and utilize the effect configParams.
- Decimator armor set has been fixed. Its damage values were vastly too high. It is now a glass-cannon suit, providing a high damage output in exchange for reduced protection.
- Gryphon rockets now destroy blocks.
- Nocxium recipe changed to incorporate elder fluid and venom samples.
- Strange Sea completely changed to be much more random in terms of liquids spawned. Surface and underwater now have their own core tile set as well, and use ice moon style ore drops.
- Aether Sea biome added. Located only around Black Stars in the Hot/Warm/Cool zone.
- Changed the way stars spawn in the main celestial config file. You'll see far fewer clumps of FU stars and a more even distribution overall. This should hopefully fix situations such as 30 black stars in a small region.
- Added "elderunderground" biome.
- Corrected ocean biome dungeon strangeness.
- Replaced several lab furniture sprites with some new ones from DarkPursuer.
- Added tier 6 variant for Energy Blade.
- Water will no longer turn sand and loose silt into mud, making ocean biomes annoying to traverse.
- Adjusted all swimboost effects. They are now clearly tiered in terms of provided boosts. This is also applied to FrackinRaces.
- Diving mask now provides a low-tier option for a slight swim boost.
- Fixed a liquid ID conflict with poison gas.
- Added several new rock deco items.
- Fixed slight graphical issues on gryphon.
- Serpentdroids now do damage.
- Tethersnap properly appears in crafting menu (matter assembler, ranged weapon/tool).
- Moved unlock for Translocator to Teleporter Core.
- Added missing unlock for Mobility I augment.
- Immunity augment requirements are much steeper rather than zero-effort.
- Added metallic hydrogen gas, liquid, resource.
- Deuterium, metallic hydrogen, liquid metallic hydrogen and tritium now act as fuels for quantum or fission reactors.
- Added Liquid Deuterium
- Added Metallic Hydrogen as a gas to some Gas Ball biomes. You can obtain it in a few other ways as well.
- Added Liquid Metallic Hydrogen.
- The two new resources above are worked into several quantum-level recipes in some way or another, replacing previous requirements. This means several things no longer require redundant Nuclear Cores! Yay!
- Completely removed Fleshreapers from spawnpools until I get them replaced.
- FU techs auto-consume the tech cards once crafted and initialized.
- Starspawn acolyte HP drastically increased
- Starspawn acolyte has gotten some touch-ups in the animation department, and some new attacks. He's got quite a repertoire, so use caution.
Frozen Wastes Mission updates:
- Reworked the entire soundscape of the mission. You'll find several new tunes in there that set a mood.
- Starspawn acolyte moved elsewhere in the dungeon.
- Added new secrets, edited old secrets. Some need specific techs or gear to pass now.
Frackin Universe 4.19.6 (for Starbound 1.1.1)

- Various elements of ShadowWolfs "Legacy Pack" have been included in FU for compatibility sake. As a result, you'll have a ton of additional microdungeons and dungeons. NOTE: Since these are legacy dungeons there may be pieces missing that are no longer present in the game. In the event of warp-to-ships please get a log file immediately and send my way. These are trivial to fix, generally.
- FU moons now have dungeons (toxic, desert, stone, shadow moons).
- Fixed up and activated the unused apex space elevator from Dungeoneer Dungeons. They are monstrous, so we will see how performance is. If it is universally bad I'll remove it completely.
- Webber "babies" added. When they do enough damage they become full-fledged Webbers.
- Smallshroom monster reactivated w/ variants.
- Magmawall2 tile improved.
- Zero burst tech properly unlocks from biofuel cannister.
- Bane Spear tier has been corrected and damage adjusted accordingly.
- Bone War Cleaver damage adjusted to suit its tier more accurately.
- Nanofabricator should properly launch a quest when picked up.
- Evader set should now properly deal with extreme pressure.
- Fixed a bug with the lunari bow alt fire.
- Several small recipe changes.
- Repair bot now spawning naturally.
- Limited the number of bees spawned outside of apiaries.
- Drone removal now happens before drone spawning.
- More fixes for in-hive spawning of drones.

Note: If you can, wait until the next release to use this .PAK file, this particular time. It should be OK, but some items/objects may be in the middle of edits.

- Wiring is tidied up somewhat.
- The multi-switch doors now use combination locks; random configuration.

- Mutavisk armor now functions as a set bonus. You no longer get fall damage immunity from just the legs.

- Nomad armor now functions as a set bonus, and has gained additional immunity to Quicksand.
- Nomad armor should also be immune to sandstorms.
- Spacefarer armor descriptions corrected to not imply non-set bonuses.
- Added missing frames file for tungsten bugnet (

). - New look for the Gryphon. it now has an FU exclusive skin
- New quests added in. The old ones still exist in the outpost but will mostly be redundant now. The new ones fire up when you craft FU stations, guiding you through their use as you go (and no turn-ins required!). The old quests will become different ones soon.

- Added Resin drop to Blex, Garpberry, Aquadpod and Beetlesprout harvests.
Frackin Universe 4.19.4 (for Starbound 1.1.1)

- Added Quicksand as a liquid. It collects as loose silt when mined.
- Lunari hammer displays special attack sprite properly.
- Missing force-door recipe added.
- Magma Titans now get a Boss healthbar in the unfortunate instance where you allow them to thrive in lava and appear.
- Swapped some tiles in Metallic Jungle to give it a more metallic look.
- Magnet Grip now allows you to use tools and weapons while sticking. This may lead to nerfing its grip time later, as 8s seems far too long for a t1 tech now. Upgraded versions might be the way to go.
- Fixed typo in slimeworld spawns causing warp-to-ship issues.
- Organic soup now slowly regenerates hunger.
- Reduced bio-ooze and mercury poison durations.
- Added 20 new underground minidungeons. They are currently only spawning on a few biomes, and relatively rarely. Lightless, Sulphuric, Primeval, Gelatinous, Crystalmoon, Ice Moon, Ice Waste and Rainforest are where you want to look.
- Removed most instances of the acidpoolCave underground cavern type. This should result in fewer "happily digging and then falling a kilometer to my death" moments on otherwise safer worlds.
- Configuration common across apiary types is now (mostly) in a new JSON configuration file.
- Ore comb production is reworked – production may be lower than before, so you may need a few more bee flowers nearby.
- Radioactive bees are produced instead of, not as well as, miner bees.
- Red candle name is corrected.
- Experimental changes:
- Candle prices are dropped significantly
- Diamond frames fail to affect the comb type ⅗ of the time
Frackin Universe 4.19.3 (for Starbound 1.1.1)

- Pipes (FU metal ones) should now pass liquid through them, thus actually acting like pipes! It's not quite right just yet though... it's more for a visual than anything. I may revert this later.
- Incorporated the golemancer core scripts from AlbertRota. Nice ideas here. This has enabled us to produce the following:
- Feeding a shadowtop raw meat will turn it into an adult
- Immersing a poop golem in tar turns it into a tar golem
- Allowing a Magma Beast to walk into lava is now a very bad idea. And do not let him bathe in it for a while. He will become significantly more powerful.
- Feeding enough raw alien steak to baby raptors will grow them into adults
- Slimes have been heavily edited. They are properly coded to the new monster style now, and liquids of certain sorts will alter them. They eat slime/endomorphic jelly and slime liquid and reproduce via that. They also still split into two when murdered.
- Fixed toxicgolem.
- Wired object for multi-switch control with random/controlled selection.
- Some more relative path fixes.
- More micrdungeon lab equipment size/position fixing.
- Lunari hammer impact partially fixed. it at least looks proper and breaks things now
- The USCM dungeon should hopefully no longer spawn erroneously underground. Yay! Had to go back and redraw the backgrounds, as the colors were off.
- USCM bases now all have loot! Yay!
- Wart and Cell tiles absorb less damage before breaking.
- You'll find a new monster in underground Spiderweb biomes: The Webber!
- Adjusted FU basicTreasure loot rates, especially in the treasurepools it pulls from.
Frackin Universe 4.19.2 (for Starbound 1.1.1)

- Minor adjustments to lab microdungeons to incorporate altered station sizes.
- Added new Servitor Drone monster to Wastelands. They take a serious beating.
- Added new miniboss. Not yet enabled.
- Added tags to Bees! resource items (reagent) so they appear where they should be

- Fixed some object positions in the shoggoth dungeon

Frackin Universe 4.19.0 (for Starbound 1.1.1)

- All FU plant produce, save for a select few (one, actually, sweetscoop), is now stackable and doesn't rot. This also removes the requirement on being hungry to use them. This makes all FU produce more viable and useful as it used to be (especially the healing ones)
- New grappling hook: Tether Snap. Use with caution, or you'll end up killing yourself. That's a promise.
- Chitin damage bonus fixed. Removed it from the set bonus and applied to only the chest piece.
- Added Starspawn Acolyte miniboss. You'll find him in the Frozen Wastes temple. His sounds (and the other starspawns) will be changed soon.
- Added Shock Jelly to Tidewater planets
