Creature skills

Ambush

Hide and ambush unsuspecting enemies. Press 'h' to hide on a tile that allows it.

Adventurers have this skill. Also, werewolves very rarely have it.

Construction

Mine and construct rooms.

Ability to gather resources, building rooms, traps and installations.

Consumption

Absorb other creatures and retain their attributes.

Creature will absorb an other creatures with higher stats, other skills or more body parts. After that it has all the absorbed creatures higher stat values, additional skills and grows new body parts. The absorbed creature will die in this process.
When it has consumed one head, two arms and two legs it will become a humanoid.

Copulation

Only copulates with male, humanoid and not uncorporal creatures.
After some time the creature will give birth to one of the following:

  • Goblin
  • Orc
  • Orc Shaman
  • Harpy
  • Ogre
  • Werewolf
  • if Humanoid Mutation researched
    • Legendary Humanoid
  • if Beast Mutation researched
    • Legendary Beast

Crops

Peasants tend crops, a useless skill once confined to a dungeon.

Digging

Ability to dig your dungeon out of the mountain face.

Disarm Traps

Evade traps and disarm them.

Creature does not trigger traps and disables them, so they have to be rearmed.

Exploring (general)

Animals that go out during the day and explore your local map uncovering the starter tribes.

Exploring caves

Animals that explore cave networks around your local map, uncovering starter tribes.

Exploring nocturnally

Wolves and werewolves that go out and hunt at night.

Forging

Creatures able to forge iron and adamantium kit. Insane goblins are sometimes skilled enough to craft artifacts.

Jewellery

Creatures able to craft magic rings and amulets

Laboratory

Creatures able to make potions

Navigational Digging

Creatures able to navigate towards your dungeon whilst digging, allowing surprise attacks.

Sorcery

Cast spells. Reduces or increases the spell cooldown.

Swimming

Cross water without drowning. Creature can walk over water.

Spider

Creatures able to spin webs

Stealth

An ability to kill enemies without awakening other enemies.

Workshop

An ability to craft leather armour and hand torches and traps. Some rare crazy goblins can make artifact armour and weapons.
