Islandoracon Half Day Workshops have been announced. 90-minute workshops will be announced on Monday.
- Jeff: working with Semantic Lab at the Pratt Institute. They have a tool for extracting semantic text. The tool will have an interface in a week or two, and Tulane with look at it to see where it might fit into Islandora. May have more news next call.
- Lydia: New tool for processing indexing calls, which has basically eliminated lag when accessing. Still developing tools to shunt off derivative generations, which are looking good but aren't ready just yet.
- Marcus: continuing to work on systems optimization
- Micheal: UCONN has been launched as a service hub or DPLA. Also working on rolling our spreadsheet batch ingest methods to users.
- Rosie: RDM project is chugging along. Orcid integration is complete (Drupal contrib module was stalled, and UPEI dev has taken over co-ownership of it). Also working on DOI minting capabilities and integrating data management plans.
