• BC ELN has upgraded their membership and Brandon Weigel is joining the Coordinating Committee 🎉

• Jared Whiklo is the release manager for this release.

  • Anyone who is still relying on 7.x is encouraged to sign up for release to keep 7 going since many are moving to 8 right now.

• No meeting of IR group since last time, but a member from google is attending next meeting which is exciting.

• ISLE interest group. Gavin is working on documentation. ISLE is nearing its next release.

• Islandora 8 is released v1.0.0 🎉

  • Release was delayed due to some issues with content translation.
  • Sandbox is up and available for testing, setup with some content to test with 😸

  • IBM has selected Islandora 8 for its Drupal Hosting platform

    • Camp is on a smaller side. Only 18 attendees so far.
    • Good schedule.
