APG github issue clean up for the transition - APG redesign project

  • New "site redesign" label
  • Sorting out "feedback" label and other labels into APG redesign project requirments

Slider PRs

  1. PR 1755 - Review updated thermostat slider example. Changes made since last meeting:
    • Removed button roles and associated properties
    • Updated documentation to remove button references and description.
    • Updated links to example page and example description to include only temperature and fan speed.
  2. PR 1758 - Review updated multi-thumb slider example. Changes since last meeting:
    • Removed flight price range
    • Removed the use of aria-valuetext
    • Updated the label to include USD for hotel
    • Updated accessibility documentation
    • Updated the referencing links and descriptions to this and similar examples
  3. Other Slider related github issues (if time permits):
    • Issue 1437 - ARIA Practices advice for left/right keys (e.g. horizontal slider) does not take into account right-to-left (RTL) languages like Arabic and Hebrew
    • issue 1393 - non relevant and Closed:uses alt
    • Issue 1800 - Merged at PR #1803:consistent warning message update
    • Issue 1799 - need a work plan to check other examples.
