Exam

The exam will be a practical student project (home exam) with hand-in of a written report. The exam may be written in English or Norwegian. Grades are awarded on a pass/fail scale for PhD students and on a A-F scale for master students.

The exam problems will be handed out a few days after the lectures are over (in the end of March).

There will be ample time (approx 1 month) to carry out the project before the report must be submitted.

Further details will be given later.

Update 27 April: It seems like singularity is not installed on all Fox nodes. If it won't run you could try adding #SBATCH --partition=ifi_bigmem to your slurm script. The problem has been reported to USIT.

Update 27 April: The earlier problem with Singularity on Fox have been solved.

Update 4 May: Do not run singularity pull or singularity build from a login node. Use an interactive node (int-1, ..., int-4) or a compute node, otherwise you may get an error.

Update 5 May: To run Trimmomatic from within the mentioned vc_norbis image, please use this command java -jar /opt/conda/share/trimmomatic-0.38-1/trimmomatic.jar or simply trimmomatic.
