    • Brian tagged an rc last week. MTT looks good. Will see about releasing next.

v5.0.x

  • Schedule: Next RC early next week.
  • mpirun Refactor PR #10338 got in.
    • But still an issue with --prefix
  • Posted opal_prefix_agrigate fix to agregate show_help messages.
    • Hope to get this in by end of the week.
  • Blocker issues
    • Issue #10252 - mpirun dependencies issue.

v4.0.x

  • No plan for update

Main branch

  • PMIx asked if mpirun could add PMIx include paths to mpicc
    • OMPI Decided against today.
  • Issue 10323 - PMIx won't build with OMPI v5.0.x
    • Need clarity if old PMIx is needed for SLURM.
  • Old PMIx + new OMPI v5.0.x, can't compile
    • Should we "Fix" this?
    • PMIx v4 is needed for some intrinsics Sessions functionality.
      • So at runtime, we'd need to issue a warning.
    • Does Open MPI HAVE to support PMIx v3.2.x?
      • Could we require building with at least PMIx v4.0.x or later?
    • Two Issues 10341, 10345
      • How can se
  • Perhaps we should have Minimum versions checked into a txt file that both
    • configure and docs could read from a common file.
    • config.py runs at beginning of Sphynx and could read in files, etc.
