Setting Player and Enemy Sides

Before starting a mission, be sure to set the player and enemy sides using the CBA Settings Framework. Please note, you'll need to restart the mission to apply the new setting values.

Note, mission designers can force the player and enemy sides using CBA Settings in the EDEN Editor.

Main Operating Base

If you would like DCG to recognize an area of the map as the player's Main Operating Base, create a marker or an object named dcg_base in the editor.

  • If dcg_base is an object, the base will follow the object's position
  • Tasks will not spawn inside the base
  • Enemies will not spawn inside the base
  • Enemies that wander into the base will be deleted if the safezone is enabled
