  • If your language uses a different lexeme for the animal body part (and potentially also as a food), then do not enter this, enter only the basic term used to refer to the human liver.
  • The target sense is the literal one of the liver as a physical body part. Avoid any other terms for liver that predominantly refer to figurative extensions, e.g. cultural perceptions of the liver as the source of various moods, emotions or characters: bile, anger, wrath, courage (or cowardice), etc..
