Updates

The updates tab allows the user to easily update Sonic '06 Mod Manager, Community Patches and any supported mods. By default, the Mod Manager will automatically check for updates and inform the user in the Status Bar if a new version is available. The Check automatically on launch checkbox will disable this behaviour. To manually check for an update, click on the Check for software updates button. If an update is found, then the button will become Fetch the latest version instead, which will automatically download and install the newest available version.

Changelogs will be written to the box beneath the update button, showing the version number and describing the changes made in the new release.

To check for mod updates, simply click the Check for mod updates button, this will check for any updates to mods that specified an update server to use and add them to the list below. Select the mods and click the Update selected mods button to download and install the update.

Clicking the Fetch latest patches button will download the patches from the Sonic '06 Mod Manager patches repository and save them into the patches folder, replacing any out of date patches. This will NOT remove any patches you have manually created.
