Web Image Explorer Window
As part of the experimental Camera Design UI, we have added a tool that will let you search various web repositories for images that you can curate, download, and later process using your camera design and optionally a neural net. Currently RGB images can be searched for and downloaded from Flickr, Pixabay, and the Library of Congress. Note that redistribution rights vary by image, so in general you should assume they are only appropriate for your study and research, unless you do your own homework.
Search results from Pixabay and Flickr can be curated prior to saving. You can also set the number of images to retrieve, and the maximum resolution of saved images, as well as the wavelength interval you want ISET to use when opening them as scenes. (The default is 10nm which is usually good enough, and much faster than 1nm).
ISETcam development is led by Brian Wandell's Vistalab group at Stanford University and supported by contributors from other research institutions and industry.
