I may propose we add some small bits of code to this repository to handle generating UIDs, and so that would in particular call for having a license here.
But even aside from that, it's better for all repositories in our project to have a license, so let's agree to distribute this under the terms of
MIT OR Apache-2.0.cc @davidtwco
