Sources Transitions

ScreenStudio is able to apply transitions on video sources. It means that when a video source is displayed or hidden, a transition can be apply like a Fade-In or a Fade-out.

How to use the Transitions? Select the Transition In/Out from the Sources List in the Sources tab. Right-click on the source and select the required transition effect.

Transitions are applied when:

  • The recording starts for the Trans-In
  • A source has a "Start Time" set and is displayed at that time for the Trans-In
  • A source has an "End Time" and is hidden at that time for the Trans-Out
  • At the end of the recording for the Trans-Out.

When you stop the recording (or streaming), there is a delay of 2 seconds before the actual recording stops. This is to leave time to render the Transition-Out to be executed and rendered.

For example, you can display your own logo for 5 seconds and fade out and then fade-in your desktop view. At the end of the video, you can have a fade-out on your desktop view while keeping a top banner displayed.
