In addition to the previous release, Protest 4.0 adds the following features:

  • Update MAC to vendors, IP Location, proxy servers, and tor servers knowledge base.
  • Fetch device information from Mikrotik, CISCO and HPE routers and switches.
  • Interfaces documentation utility for routers and switches.
  • Automatically populate interfaces from the device config file.
  • Categories and groups on the side menu.
  • On protest.cfg file, you can now use multiple header prefixes.
  • ACL for accessing the interface.
  • Encoder utility.
  • Option to overwrite the default port for protocols on the equip view window.
  • Drop-down menu on the equipment list window with tools and utilities.
  • Fix NetBIOS white-space bug and DNS mismatch bug.
  • Fix cookie domain-port bug.
