Although the brand "Kontalk" is not registered anywhere, we try to pursuit as legally as possible any misuse of the brand and the project it represents. We rely on common sense and willingness of the people interested to the project to support it in a proper way.

Recently, we came to understand that a (fake?) Serbian company, namely VIRTeam Serbia, DOO, headed by Boris Milanovic, is trying to resell Kontalk illegally, taking its source code and modifying it to their wishes, selling it to the highest bidder. An Italian fellow kindly provided us all the information about this guy, including a picture of his ID. We'll find a way to contact him and let him know we know about his actions, but in the meantime we urge you to not give any credit to this person/company.
