When
/metricsis queried with the tenant's host name, likehttps://mydb.myhost:5656/metrics, the output contains only the metrics that belong to the tenant, without thetenantlabel. Otherwise if no tenant is specified, likehttps://127.0.0.1:5656/metrics, it'll return metrics of all tenants with atenantlabel.This should be used with appropriate authentication methods.
