Stakeholders
A Devfest Organizer is part of the organizing team of the conference. His/her main objectives are:
- guarantee everyone interested in the conference get the right informations on how to reach it, when to reach it and what to do;
- guarantee everyone interested in the conference knows who to contact for any need;
- guarantee that prospect sponsors get all the informations about the conference and the sponsorship tiers;
- guarantee that people that may be interested in the conference get to know about it, by searching on search engines or by reading about it on social networks because other people spread the voice.
Also, he/her needs to manage the web application's contents in a easy and sustainable way, with the less struggle possible and with the possibility to quickly customize the application.
An Attendee is someone interested in attending at the conference, regardless if he/she is also a Sponsor's employee or a Speaker.
He/she needs to have all the informations about when and how to reach the conference, about the agenda, about who to contact if needed. Also, he/she should be able to get those informations in a easy and accessible way. He/she can visit the web application from various different devices and may also be visually impaired.
If possible, he/she may want to customize the agenda, choosing which session to attend to and receiving a notification when the session is about to start, while he/she is already in the conference's venue.
A Sponsor is generally a company interested in supporting the conference or that is already supporting it.
When the sponsor is still evaluating if the conference is worth a sponsorship, the sponsor will need to know everything about it and, if any, informations about past editions too. Also, the sponsor will need to have informations about the sponsorship tiers, in order to choose which one fits better its needs.
When a sponsor confirm the sponsorship, it needs to be listed among the conference's supporters.
A Speaker is, generally, an attendee for the most of the time, during the conference. Therefore, he/she has the same needs of an attendee, but, at a certain point, will hold a talk. This means he/she will need to know the schedule of the talk and in which room it will take place.
Also, he/she will be interested in spreading the voice about the talk, so more people will gather to attend to it. If the web application provides the possibility, he/she will definitely want to share informations about the talk and its schedule directly from the application, sharing the details on social networks.
