Bill of Material
What is needed for the installation.
Electronics:
- 3 raspberry pis (or any linux / windows / macOS computer with USB in fact)
- 10 arduino
- neopixel (or generic WS2812 stripes), at least 10 meters
- speakers if you want sound
- 1 button to restart the game (we use a classical electrical switch)
Network:
- a classical router (ethernet / wifi): connection is done only by wire for now (could be wifi without problems I think)
- 3 Ethernet cables:
- 1x 1 meter
- 2x 3 (or more) meters
- 10 usb cables (between arduinos and PCs)
- 4x 50cm - 1m
- 5x 3m or more
Infrastructure:
You will need some "space" to setup the installation and the cable management. It needs a closed space (between 3m x 3m and 5m x 5m) and the darkest the place, the better (for a better immersion).
If you own the room and can do whatever you want, that's great, you can do anything. Otherwise, we advise to use a garden arbour to create the foundations and the isolation.
