🧵 How to copy part of a project into another project

In AAA you can copy a subset of your data into a new project or add it into an existing project. This makes it easy to give some of your data to someone else without giving them your whole project. This method creates another AAA project, so the person you give this to needs to have AAA too.

You can also use this feature to merge data from different projects together into one project.

To do this, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the project that you want to copy data from. If you want to copy data from only one client, please open that client.

  1. Next, in the top-left of the screen, click FileCreate/Copy Project...

    Create copy project

  1. Click the Browse button.

IF you are creating a new copy, choose where you want to create the new copy.

    OR

IF you are merging data into an existing project, locate the project you want to merge this data into, then skip to step 6.

    Browse

  1. If you are creating a new copy, type in the name you want your new copy to have, in the box called Project Name.

6. Click the Select Clients button.

Then, choose the clients, sessions and recordings that you want to copy into the subset.

Once you have chosen, click OK.

If you want to copy selected recordings from several clients or sessions then you need to repeat the process for every session, each time amending to the same target project.

  1. Look at the Clients to be copied from the current project and check that it is correct.
