These WIKI pages explain the principle of the whole system surrounding the NoiseCapture App, that is called the OnoMap Spatial Data Infrastructure.

  • One can suggest first to read the Introduction in order to understand the problem of noise annoyance in the environment and what justified the development of a specific infrastructure (OnoMap) for the production of collaborative noise maps.
  • The OnoMap Spatial Data Infrastructure is then presented in the following page.

Credits

OnoMap is co-funded by the ENERGIC-OD project and the French geographic portal GEOPAL of the Pays de la Loire region.

OnoMap is a collaboration between two french research laboratories, the Joint Research Unit in Environmental Acoustics (UMRAE) and the DECIDE team of the Lab-STICC laboratory (CNRS).

For more information about the NoiseCapture App and the OnoMap system, see the website http://www.noise-planet.org.
