Retesting, I'm seeing hanging on the Cosine Bell test case in a way that looks like a file system issue. I'll try testing again tomorrow :-( :-(

Okay, the file system issue persist. After running the pr test suite without the EC test cases several times, I did get a successful run:

/users/xylar/scratch4/compass_1.2/chicoma-cpu/test_20230128/ocean_pr_no_ec

I'm going to call that a success even though problems remain, some of with we will need to solve (#497) and others that LANL IC is hopefully seeing.
