We have two sets of 24 wire ribbon loom for resistance bridge measurements. We have constantin cabling to from the feedthrough to the 4K plate, and Niobium cabling to run from the 4K plate to the cold plate.
The niobium cabling was ordered presoldered, so all connections seem to work.
Several connections on the constantin were apparently loose and came undone while stycasting. These should be resoldered at some point, but in the meantime only a few pins are useable:
- Cable 1 (dental floss is attached to the connector in the fridge):
- Pin 13 is not connected (expected, b/c we have a 24 wire loom)
- Pin 25 is not connected
- Pin 17 has a 240 Ohm resistance, Pin 21 has a 320 Ohm resistance, all other pins have a 140 Ohms resistance (all at room temperature)
- Cable 2 (no dental floss)
- Pin 13 is not connected (expected, b/c we have a 24 wire loom)
- Pins 19, 21, and 22 are not connected
- Pin 12 on the DB-25 is connected to pins 12 and 13 on the DB-25 micro side
- All other pins have a 140 Ohm resistance at room temperature
