If a mining facility can adequately supply refined pure metals then it can easily be equipped with a metal fuel cell / MAEC system and dodge the need for the usual liquid fuels which may be hard to come by in some scenarios. These parts have all the height variants of the super battery suite.

Sterling MAECs can be fueled by Aluminium, Silicon or Beryllium. They contain a second converter module, the recharger, which employs electrolysis to restore the metal fuel. This produces waste heat which must be managed. Running an MAEC normally will produce a small amount of ThermalPower.

Note

The recharger module runs at 1000 K with System Heat.
