performance testing

Early in Jemison's development, there were a number of performance tests performed in order to evaluate queueing models and throughput (amongst other things). Those are consolidated here for reference.

  • initial tests: early explorations of different numbers of workers and queue throughput
  • gateway tests: further explorations, including round-robin and per-domain queueing models
  • tp1, tp2: explorations of text preparation for FTS performance
  • the importance of where clauses: a deep dive into large corpi with many common words
