Clinical Clerkship Grading

The Northern Ontario Medical School sends its Clinical Clerks to peripheral rural clinics all over the area. Students rotate through different compulsory and elective placements. The rotations are generally oriented more toward primary care. At each rotation, two physicians and a nurse independently rated them in the same four areas of competence on a six-point scale. Over the year they rotate typically through six to eight rotations.
- Assuming that you have also downloaded the data file, you can start GS_M and enter the appropriate data step-by-step to G_String from the story, until step 11, where you get the results. Remember to select 'Replication' action.
- You can download the Replication Analysis script, and feed it step-by-step until you get the results.
- You can download the the results of the replication and compare it with your own results.
- You can repeat the whole analysis, but at the end do a D-Study by trying out what happens, when you change the number of assessors and competencies to be evaluated.
- You can even download the Replication Synthesis script, and experiment with creating your own synthetic data set.
