I accidently removed the data folder which stopped the controller working in the carousel on THEA500 Mini, fixed now... :)

Updates added, bug fixes, I changed some things in it like renamed folders.

ADF-Disks folder on the root of the PCUAE USB Drive is now connected to the ADF folder in THEA500-USB-MENU so you will see the ADF files in the ADF-Disks folder in the ADF folder in the USB Media Menu in the carousel now so can load them from there now too and in ADF Mode as well.

If you have not installed PCUAE for a while it would be a good idea to clear everything for the USB Drive because some folder names have change and this version does not remove any files so back up your carousel games first before deleting everything on it.

PCUAE Install was missing the folder THEC64-CAROUSEL-GAMES, its been added now, it needs to be on the PCUAE USB Drive so PCUAE Manager copied the Gamelist views to that folder otherwise PCUAE Manager makes the old folder PCUAE USB Drive:/Carousel_Games/Games folder, that needs changing so if the folders is not there PCUAE Manager makes PCUAE USB Drive:/THEC64-CAROUSEL-GAMESfolder not the old folder because when you put the USB Drive back in the machine it will sayIt can not find Favories_1 Gamelist folder(Gamelist view)`.

You can now use PCUAE Main Version like a update and use it to go over the top of PCUAE All In One Version to update it, PCUAE Main Version does not delete any files now from the USB Drive so if you want a clean install first reformat the USB Drive in Windows 10/11, it will select FAT32 if the drive is already formatted with FAT32.... :) do not know why Windows does not offer it anyway, we still use drive that use the file system, its because Win10 /11 are both NT OSes and it was removed in Win2000/XP and because they want you to use NTFS it more secure and your files do not get corrupted.

Been working on the the dirty bit on the drive this week and when you power of the machines they go into box standby, so into standby mode and it never releases the drive so never ejects it or unmounts itso if you pull it out it makes a dirty bit on the drive the dirty is made by the carousel when it mounts it and reads it from it USB Media Menu and then you remove it without it unmounting it or ejecting it.

TIP: Never take out the drive when the machine is on, always take it out after it have shutdown and gone to standby mode, because it never eject it or unmounts it itself, it needs too but the only way to remove the dirty bit is using fsck.fat and scanning it so it fixes errors on the drive and removes the dirty bit mark, but on THEA500 after scanning the USB Drive it crashes the kernel and does two call traces like when it crashes on Amiberryv3, I find the kernel very weird in THEA500 Mini.

Make sure you have a backup of PCUAE and how its setup on the PCUAE USB Drive now because you never know when your files will become corrupted on the USB drive because of problem of the dirt bit on the USB Drive.

Yep you can use the internet with it now on THEA500 Mini, you can now as well use WinSCP with it so can transfer files between the PC and the PCUAE USB Drive without needing to remove it now too, SCP server runs automatically as part of PCUAE Network Mode, it works on THEC64 and THEA500.

PCUAEv3.3.1

PCUAE Manager is only for THEC64 side of PCUAE, it not for THEA500, I am making The PCUAE Menu for THEA500 so its easier to download stuff for it so its does not feel like its left out in the cold... :) all the stuff that says not in pcuae manager is for THEA500.

Retroarch Mode is split between THEC64 and THEA500: THEC64 - retroarch-mode and THEA500 - retroaami-retroarch-mode so if you have THEC64 or THEA500 make sure you download the right one, retroarch-mode for THEC64 and is in the PCUAE Manager, RetroAami is not.

THEC64 uses RA 1.7.0 and THEA500 uses RA 1.10.3.

Done some bug fixing and speed up PCUAE boot time, made some more boot screens too so you can see what mode its loading on the screen so each mode it loads shows what mode its load under the PCUAE logo using the C64 font.

I have now cleared out all the files in PCUAE Main version thats was not needed so thats why its now a smaller file, under 1 GB packed.

RetroAmi has been added and Pandory has been removed, it was only ever a link to Pandory download anyway.

PCUAEv3.3.0

New Release because of PCUAE Network Mode has been updated.

PCUAE Network Mode has been updated now to included THEA500, so you can now use the internet on the machine like you can on THEC64 but it only works with one USB Ethernet Adapter, TP-Link UE300 Ethernet Adapter, I bought one and it cost me £16 from eBay, so if you look around you might get one cheaper, I think they were original made for Apple MacOS X because it white like there old Apple Notebooks so it goes with the colour of THEA500 Mini very well... :)

Updated the way PCUAE loads TheCarousels and speeded its loading time so its a bit faster, including the Modes too, I would like it to load 20 or 30 seconds but to do that I would have to change the way PCUAE boots up, it takes about 1 minute 30 seconds to load at the moment, I will do it some time down the line, busy with other things in PCUAE, PCUAE boot like a system so have to be carful not to brake anything as its booting, so got to give things time to boot and run like PCUAE Network Mode, I can brake something if it boots to quick so then misses something so it might not be possible, one problem with it is it has to see the PCUAE USB Drive so needs time to see it so 5 seconds so makes it take longer to boot when it first boots but that can not be changed.

AMIGA Mode now includes AmigaSYS4 and CD32 Modes, ADF Mode is part of PCUAE.

To get the games for AMIGA Mode they are included in the PCUAE All In One Version in WHDLoad-Games folder on the root of the PCUAE USB Drive that is on the website for download.
AMIGA Mode will be updated soon to include them as a extra setup, AMIGA_Mode_Extras_v3.3.0.exe thats 3.90GB.
They have been remade so have new names so AMIGA Mode will not work with the older hdf files in the WHDLoad-Games folder so you will need PCUAE AIO to have the games to at the moment.

PCUAEv3.2.0

This is the main release of PCUAE, its release number has change because Atari ST Mode was added, so it now PCUAE v3.2.0 so bugs are now fixed, and small updates have now been added to the main release.

PCUAE Menu has been discontinued now, so when you download PCUAE from the PCUAE Manager it will be the main version only, more version on the website.

Most mods made for Mini Consoles like Hakchi2 CE, Project Luna and Eris use a menu that works on Windows 10/11 only, this is no different, PCUAE is based on Project Luna, Hakchi2 CE, thats how I wanted it, the modes in PCUAE are like HMods in Hakchi 2 CE, thats why you can install some of them in the PCUAE Manager.

When you install it and then run it, it will update itself to the latest version so no need to worry its a older version, this is the full install too that includes Java, it needs it for it to work, it doesn't work with just its exe only, you need this first because it was built with Java.

How To fully removed PCUAE Installs from PCUAE Manager - Right click on its shortcut on the desktop and click on Open file location then go into pcuae-install and then highlight all .exe files in that folder and then right click on them and then click on delete on Win10 or the Trashcan icon on Win11... done, PCUAE Manager does not remove the last version you downloaded, this does... :) PCUAE Manager keep the latest version on PCUAE and deletes the rest but you might want to delete everything sometimes.

IMPORTANT

You might need to disable your Antivirus while running this because it might remove the pcuae-update.exe inside the PCUAE Menu so just disable the monitoring part of it when you run PCUAE Manager and download PCUAE(Menu), Defender on Windows removes it and you have to restore it or select option 4 again so it downloads it, it thinks its a virus when its a false positive so has no virus in it, it sees it has scripts in it thats why.

INSTALL PCUAE-MAIN_AIO-3.1.0-RC5-DOWNLOADER3.exe TO YOUR C: DRIVE, THIS IS NOT PCUAE.

THIS IS PCUAE DOWNLOAD MENU SO YOU CAN DOWNLOAD DIFERENT VERSIONS OF PCUAE.

IT WILL AUTOLOAD THE MENU WHEN YOU HAVE INSTALLED IT TO THE C: DRIVE IN WINDOWS.

Added a pcuae-update.exe for small updates in the PCUAE Menu(Option 4), make sure you install PCUAE first before installing the update, check it to see if it has a pcuae-update.exe file in it for Updating PCUAE and install it to the PCUAE USB Drive, its for small updates that are about 1 to 2 mb in sizes.
I added this because everytime I change something in PCUAE I then have to change the torrents, this way I do not need too, I just add it as a pcuae-update.exe file and update the PCUAE-MAIN_AIO-3.1.0-RC5-DOWNLOADER.exe file so thats why its changes its number at the end of its name from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and so on, like: PCUAE-MAIN_AIO-3.1.0-RC5-DOWNLOADER7.exe so PCUAE Manager sees the change and makes you download the new file... :)

NEW MODE INCLUDED... This now includes ATARI ST MODE so you can now load disk images from the Atari ST, STE, TT and Falcon, it uses Hatari from Retroarch, it has now been added to ATARI Mode, so its a bit bigger now in size, A Hard Drive has now been added too so you can load games from it so its easier to load them.

Bugs might still remain in ATARI ST MODE because it still been worked on and we are trying to remove them as we come a cross them and improve it.

Info on How to load a disk image in Disk Image Mode or How to load a Harddisk in Harddisk Mode(Harddisk is included) is in the Mode Changer when you enable Atari ST Mode in ATARI Mode, please read it first before using and select a mode( Harddisk Mode or Disk Image Mode) you want to load when Atari ST Mode loads.

Atari Disks or Cartridges images for Atari A5200, 8bit, 16bit and Atari ST Harddrive is now in PCUAEUSB://PCUAE-Atari-Games folder now.
Same for VICE Mode, games are now in PCUAEUSB://PCUAE-VICE-Games folder now.
Amiga CD32 Mode and ScummVM Mode Games are still in PCUAEUSB://THEA500-USB-MENU folder.

The Carousel Games for THEC64 Carousel(THEC64 Mini, THEC64, THEVIC20) are still in PCUAEUSB://THEC64-CAROUSEL-GAMES folder.

All new info has now been added before you load a mode on how to use it, and when PCUAE is loading a mode it will say what mode is loading under the PCUAE Boot Screen.

Now Loading, PCUAE Mode... Now Loading, AMIGA Mode... Now Loading, ATARI Mode... Now Loading, VICE Mode... Now Loading, Amiga CD32 Mode...

I have now added PCUAE 3.1.0 for THEC64 and PCUAE 3.1.0 for THEA500 so you can download a version of PCUAE for that machine to the menu, if you do not want everything and just want a version of PCUAE for the machine you own.

You can now download via the menu: AGS and Pandory from there download links, added them so it makes it easier to download.

PCUAE has had a over hall.. :) , its files and folders have completely changed and have been better organized, each Mode now has a description on what it does so you know how to use it before it gets enabled and loads.

ADF Mode has now been added to THEC64 Models so works on them so not just on THEA500.

ScummVM Mode has now been added with some included games THEA500 ATM.

PCUAE comes now at the moment as one big zip file so includes everything that can be added to PCUAE.
Just copy it to your USB Drive and Plug it into your machine and run Fake Update on THEC64 Models or the Autoboot Setup on THEA500.

To add mods to PCUAE on THEA500 add them to THEA500-USB-MENU like AGS or Pandory.

The carousel games folder for THEC64 Mini/THEC64/THEVIC20 Carousel are in THEC64-CAROUSEL-GAMES folder now too, games are included.

You will need a torrent program to download PCUAE AIO 3.1.0 RC1.zip at the moment, in the coming weeks it will be spilt into PCUAE Main Setup and Modes Setup exe files.

I have added PCUAE 3.1.0 AIO Torrent Downloader where a menu comes up so you can install Qbittorrent(64/32bit) and run the PCUAE Torrent file, when you install the exe file it installs it to the C: Drive so after you downloaded PCUAE the files it installed to C: can be deleted afterwards.

Once its installed on C:/(takes about 10 seconds) it will load the menu automatically so you can pick if you want to install Qbittorrent(options 1, 2) and then run the PCUAE Torrent file to download PCUAE from BitTorrent(Option 3).

The PCUAE 3.1.0 AIO torrent file is in the exe(if you open it with WinRAR or 7zip) its in /pcuaedownloader/downloadpcuae folder, if you do not use a PC and can not run the pcuae-3.1.0-aio-torrent-downloader.exe.
I made the PCUAE Torrent Downloader for PCUAE Manager, it can not run torrent files so found a way so it could run the torrent file ... :)

What's my plan... well there will be three editions of PCUAE 3.1.0, PCUAE 3.1.0 THEC64 Edition, PCUAE 3.1.0 THEA500 Edition and PCUAE All In One Complete Edition the full version will be about 50GB is size so you can choose which one you want to use.

The whole idea of PCUAE is that everything is include with it and is easy to install.

This is taking a while cause I need to make sure it works ok and I had to rebuilt it, got sick of the errors it had and that and I wanted to reorganize its files and folders, it was about time I did.

Sorry its taken so long for the next version of PCUAE, had to change a few things in it, I have to check it and make sure it all works property and its only me working on it now so it will take a little longer to release now, best things come to those who wait... :)

You will need host-rum.adf from Pandory A500 if your on Firmware v1.1.1 on THEA500 Mini, so you can enable Autoboot Mode,
If your on Firmware v1.0.0 then you can run the PCUAE Startup for Firmware v1.0.0,

host-rum.adf is in the Pandory zip file under /Pandory/boot/C folder and it goes in the root Pandory folder in
PCUAEUSB:/Pandory/boot/C folder in PCUAEUSB Drive.

You will not be able to boot PCUAE from Firmware v1.1.1 without it, but only need to do it
if you have not activated(enabled) Autoboot Mode already, it take less then 5 seconds to copy it over,
if you have Pandory already, if not then you can download Pandory A500 from here -

I have now changed the root of the USB Drive so where the carousel menu sees its files, on THEA500 now, it didn't work on THEC64 cause it mounts the drive at /mnt , I changed it to make it easier to load games that are in the carousel menu and add mods to THEA500 Mini easier, its a lot better this way and it a lot more straight forward ... :) and less confusing where you put .ahi files or add mods.

You will have a new folder now on the root of the USB Drive called THEA500-USB-MENU so if you want to run AMiNIMiga its easy to do now cause you just unzip it into PCUAE USB://THEA500-USB-MENU/AMiNIMiga folder and then run PCUAE Mode(Carousel Mode) and that's it, you will then see it in THEA500 Carousels Media Menu.

Its different for THEC64 machines, you can not change its root on that, I tried and it only works from the real root so you can use the THEC64-USB-MENU folder but you will have to go into it in the Carousel's media Menu on that.

I have added a folder for VICE Mode too so you can add D64 games and that so you can run games in it, the folder is called VICE-Games and it has different folders in it like C64, PET, VIC20, C128, Plus4 and so on, when VICE Mode loads and whatever the emulator is running in it and if you press Menu on the Gamepad it will bring up the Vice Settings Menu so you load a game and will be in the right folder for that emulator so you can load the right games for it... :) so if you load C64 Mode then the folder that will open is the C64 folder in VICE-Games folder.

I now added a option to PCUAE Restore Toolkit for Flashing(reading or writing) the NANDA or NANDB in THEA500 Mini and added the no tamper key NANDA too and a NANDB DEFAULT BACKUP for it too so you can restore it if your having problems with the NANDB on THEA500 Mini, DO NOT EVER pick the wrong option in it otherwise you will mess up your machine, only pick the option for your machine.

*Just realised I never added PCUAE Restore Toolkit to THEA500 PCUAE Option Menu, thats be coming in the next update, PCUAE Has two PCUAE Option Menu, one menu for THEA500 Mini and one for THEC64 Mini, THEC64 and THEVIC20.
