Streamers

Polls

As a moderator of a channel (including being the streamer), you can create polls through the extension overlay on your live stream page. To do so, open the RimConnect overlay by clicking the button down the bottom right of your stream.

If you are authorized, you will see some buttons at the top for controlling polls.

After selecting "Create Poll", fill out all the selection boxes followed by the "Create" button.

Now you and your viewers should see a screen like this to be able to place votes and influence your game.

Store

To manage how items work in your silver store, navigate to the mod settings through the Options menu

There are 3 settings in here. Silver cost, Local Cooldown, and Global Cooldown.

• Silver cost: The amount of silver it costs for a viewer to purchase the item/event. Setting this to 0 or -1 will disable the item and will not be purchasable by viewers. It can still be used in polls however
• Local Cooldown: The amount of time between purchases for an individual viewer in seconds. i.e. 30 would mean a viewer must wait 30 seconds between repeat purchases. 600 would mean a viewer must wait 10 minutes between purchases
• Global Cooldown: The amount of time between purchases across all viewers. i.e. 30 would mean once a viewer purchases an item/event, all viewers will be unable to purchase that event for 30 seconds

Viewers

There are 2 ways that you can currently interact with RimConnect as a viewer. You can vote on polls that are created by stream moderators, or you can purchase items and events from the loyalty store. Please note these instructions are geared towards the desktop viewing experience, if you're using mobile the experience is different.

To use RimConnect, there will be a golden square in the bottom right corner of the stream that you can click on to open the RimConnect interface

If there is a currently active poll, you can click on the options to cast your vote for what you would like to happen

If you would like to purchase something with your silver, there is a store tab down the bottom of the RimConnect popup that you can click. In here you can set how much of an item you would like to purchase to send it to the streamer
