Introduction
Hello.
Thank you for exploring AudioKit Synth One (Or just Synth One). This innovative synthesizer is the cumulative work of dozens of volunteers and countless hours of development. The Synth One music synthesizer is a fun, expressive instrument, which we hope will bring you hours, days, months, and even years of entertainment.
A synthesizer (or synth) is an electronic musical instrument that generates electric signals that are converted to sound through instrument amplifiers and loudspeakers or headphones. Synthesizers may either imitate traditional musical instruments like piano, Hammond organ, flute, vocals; natural sounds like ocean waves, etc.; or generate novel electronic timbres. They are often played with a musical keyboard, but they can be controlled via a variety of other input devices, including music sequencers, instrument controllers, fingerboards, guitar synthesizers, wind controllers, electronic drums, computers, tablets, and even smartphones.

Recommendations
Synth One works best on the latest Apple iPad and may experience performance issues on iPads 2012 (3rd generation) and older.
Though you can play on the onscreen piano, Synth One performs best when used with an external controller (Such as the KORG microKEY Air — not an endorsement).
This manual is a work in progress, so please bear with us as we put into words, what has pretty much been code, algorithms, science, mathematics, and super-secret digital sorcery.
