Status

Accepted

Context

We need a common IDE so we can share the same configuration and work in a more consistent environment. Also this way we can use the same plugins as discussed in #12, and so we will not have compatibility issues.

Decision

We decided to go for Visual Studio Code (VSCode).

Consequences

Using this IDE that is very versatile and has a lot of supported languages will allow us to program in all the different languages we use (frontend or backend) and there is also a lot of us who have already worked with this tool.
