ADR #11: Bing Maps (Static)

Bing Maps (Static).

Status

Accepted

Context

We need and API for making some computations for converting from an address to coordinates and vice-versa. More in more, we want to display - in a static map - the route for delivering the package.

Decision

We are choosing Bing Maps as we have the university account.

Consequences

Having the students plan in mind, we can make the requests we want for this project. This is, we have some credits included in the university account. Thus, we can provide the applications some features that a free account cannot, including some extra requests and credits.
