  • Grant to merge current comments before end of week

  • Bill thinks we should have a rationale section --- but probably not in the document proper
    • Could be added as a side document
    • Should link to Alex's argument as to why UEFI (Embedded world paper)
      • Alex to post link to mailing list

Regarding conformance

Bill will draft something, but will not block release to wait for it.

U-Boot is running SCT… not really useful to comment on it yet.

Alex would like to talk about what devicetree compatibility actually means.

  • Thinking about using a 'ebbr' tag to indicate that a devicetree is stable and any device using it will continue to boot.
  • Rob's concern about moving things from unstable to stable
