We proposed the Regional-FAST detection method to solve the feature matching from ultrasound images. Our proposed approach can detect the feature points more precisely according to the regional intensity information. From the experiments, our proposed detection method can achieve significant improvement when combined with GMS matching. This approach is expected to achieve better accuracy to assist diagnostics in the future.
