Not sure if it was intended to also exclude old blog posts. Just noting since it wasn't explicitly mentioned. It probably makes sense to leave old blog posts, but I would find it very easy myself to overlook the fact that it has a date on it.
Seems like we should also remove from potential future benefits of sponsorship (also Australia 2024 and Portland 2025). Or is that also out of scope?
@ericholscher can we redirect |

Good call on the Sponsorship! I did ignore the zillion blog posts, yeah :-D I mean, you really shouldn't be mining ancient timely content for current job searches. 👹 |

This looks like a good starting point. I can do a redirect on those URLs to the jobs sponsorship page, which I guess we have to write in the next 30 days.
I think we can probably just remove the job postings from the sponsorships, and transition them to the "job blurb in the newsletter" offering that we need to firm up.
Initial work here: #2206 |
@ericholscher how do you want to handle the job stuff in current sponsorship levels:
I don't think we want to keep that 1 for 1? |
Seems fine? That's for the huge sponsors, and is basically the same benefit, just an email promo for the jobs. |
Yep, fair enough. Should we reach out to existing sponsors for these events? Or is it similar enough not to matter? |
OK, if we're happy with b34a0db, and the redirects are in place, this is good to go. |
Honestly, a lot of our sponsors don't use those benefits anyway, so I can just explain it to them when they ask. We should also probably link to the blog post where we discussed the job board going away, but that's a small tweak we can do later. I haven't set up the redirect yet, but I think we still have a job posted, so we should wait on that until the job is gone. |
Sounds good, I'll leave it with you to wrap up? |

@CollierCZ Would be good to mention this in the newsletter next month 👍 |
Removed most mentions from home page, nav and www pages.
Ignored old conference posts and newsletter pages.
(left some random end of line white space trimmings in)
