@ddbeck @plaindocs I just checked, and all our default channels are listed 👍🏻 I can go either way for adding #meta as a default channel - in my head, it tends to be more about stuff like moderation and channel requests, so I don't think newbies are necessarily going to spend a lot of time in it. And no one kicks newbie questions out of #general or #watercooler as it is. I do think we should make it more obvious on this page, though; maybe we can add it under "other useful topical channels"? |
yeah, I think I'm with @janine-c - let's not add it to default channels. |
- Put more interesting newbie channels first - More & better channel cross-referencing (e.g., note work-wanted in contrast to job-posts-only) - Put watercooler last, since it is off-topic - Give announcements a `#`
