Login to Skyline

  1. Type ‘/skyline’ directly after the root url, example: http://www.westarete.com/skyline
  2. Enter your username
  3. Enter your password
    Note: the initial account will need to be setup by a developer

Create a Page

  1. Click the ‘plus’ button found at the top of the page navigation frame
  2. Select whether the new page is inline or nested with the selected page

Add a Page To Navigation Menu

  1. Check the ‘Show in Menu’ option at the top of the page you’re editing
    Note: there is only support for top layer pages unless skyline has been customized to support nested navigation

Add Page Content to a Page

  1. Click on a page from the page navigation
  2. Click ‘Add Section’ and choose the type of content you’d like
  3. Fill out the section with your content
  4. Click ‘Save’
  5. Click ‘Publish’ on the right side of the page

Upload Images and Files

  1. Click ‘Media library’ from the top navigation
  2. Select a folder from the folder navigation, where you’d like to put the images
  3. Click the ‘+ Upload files’ button
  4. Click ‘add file(s)’
  5. Navigate to an image or file you’d like to upload. Do this for all the files you’d like to upload at once
  6. When completed, click ‘Upload’

Add an Image to a Page

  1. Click ‘Pages’ from the top navigation
  2. Select a page that you’d like to add an image to
  3. Click ‘Add section’
  4. Select ‘Paragraph’
  5. Click the image of a tree from the text editing tools that are displayed when editing the new section
  6. Select the folder where the image was uploaded to from the ‘Media Library’
  7. Select the image
  8. Edit the Alt, Align, and Size fields according to your goal
  9. Click ‘Ok’
  10. Click ‘Save’ and ‘Publish’

Write a News Article

  1. Click on Content Library at top navigation
  2. Choose ‘News items’ on left side
  3. Click ‘New’ on right
  4. Fill out the options. the url is the path after .com/[ path ]
  5. Add sections and enter your content
  6. Click ‘Save’ at bottom
  7. Click ‘Publish’ on right
