This doesn't link directly to the PDF - I'm not sure what the ACM's policy is on directly linking to articles. IMO the link to the PDF on the ACM page is fairly obvious.
It also seems to be available at https://www.archive.ece.cmu.edu/~ganger/712.fall02/papers/p761-thompson.pdf (which we should be free to link to directly) but I think the ACM page is a more authoritative source.
