Getting Started

To run Talkie locally:

1. Clone this repository: git clone https://github.com/varnitsaxena7/Talkie.git

2. Navigate to the project directory at first the client frontend directory.

3. Install dependencies: npm install

4. Start the development server: npm start

5. Open your browser and visit: http://localhost:3000

6. Now navigate to the backend directory.

7. Install dependencies: npm install

8.Run: nodemon index.js

9.Now you can use the application.

Usage

• Register and login to start chatting with other users.
• Create new chat rooms or join existing ones.
• Enjoy seamless communication with real-time messaging.
