Installation

A number of issues have been raised regarding the problems with installing fipy. Issues:

   - 3rd party package incompatibilities
   - lack of user knowledge with respect to python installation procedures
   - environment and path problems (lack of knowledge in linux/unix type stuff)
   - platform incompatibilities
   - installing fipy on multiple computers for classroom use

Solutions:

   - Live CD, including complete OS
   - make fink, apt-get, yum, rpm etc work
   - Create fipy.dmg, fipy.exe (include everything) with complete python installations that do not interfere with system pythons.
   - Investigate use of eggs
