+Anika (senior, Computer Science) is very interested in computational biology, and has taken related bioinformatics and machine learning electives. Since joining the Treangen lab in the Spring semester of 2024, she has been working on characterizing gut microbiome samples using an autoencoder. She hopes to continue working on computational biology research after graduation. Outside of academics, Anika enjoys photography!
