We could leave out the SOAs from the Denial of Existence proof and insecurity proog, since they are not needed, not even for the indication of how long to cache the non-existence. This is reflected in the NSEC and NSEC3 TTLs. This was also already the case in our examples (see insecure delegation example).
You decide if you want to leave the SOAs out or not.
