Hello! 👋 I'm Culi

About me: I'm a software engineer and web developer with a background in mathematics, a focus on cooperation, and an interest in working on any projects promoting and supporting community.

Languages I'm comfortable with: Javascript/TypeScript (React, NodeJS), Python (data, ai, scraping, etc), Ruby (Rails) Languages I don't really use much anymore: Java, C++ Languages I've tried and can pick up if need be: Elm, Clojure, Rust

Skills:

  • Great at maintaining and improving code quality of a code-base.
  • Chronically cooperative. I'm always down to pair, cooperate, or help out.
  • Strong grasp of web standards, semantic HTML, and a11y practices.
  • Data viz skills with D3 and matplotlib and a good grasp of best practices.
  • Lots of experience with both web-scraping and building REST and GraphQL APIs.

Topics of particular interest to me: generative algorithms, shaders, evolutionary algorithms, database infrastructures for crowd-source data, machine learning in general, scaling databases for crowd-sourced content.
