Blocks
It generates in Dead Forest, Ash Desert, and Scorched Plains biomes, both as the top block and underground (mixed with stone). Ash blocks always drop 4 Ash items.
It generates in clusters on the surface levels of Dead Forest, Ash Desert, and Scorched Plains biomes amongst Ash Blocks and it can be mined with shovels. This block always drops 2 charcoal items and it has a 20% chance to drop a third one.
This block can either be crafted with 9 Enchanted Lapis Lazuli items or through the use of a Slate Altar of any tier. It is mainly used as a crafting although using it for decoration is perfectly safe. Also, it emits light.
This block does not have any functionality besides being an essential part of an Ehanced Slate Altar. It emits light and it is safe to use it as decoration.
Unlike normal logs, Charred Logs are unable to be rotated and they drop 2-4 charcoal items upon being broken unless they are harvested with an item which is enchanted with Silk Touch. This type of wood does not have a plank variant and it is not to be confused with Ashen wood. They are usually found on Dead Forest biomes. For more information, view the Burnt Tree page.
Ash Leaves have a very low chance of dropping 1-2 Ash items unless they are harvested with a tool with the Silk Touch enchantment, in which case, the block itself will be dropped. Unlike normal leaf blocks, they can not be harvested with shears and they will not disappear if they are not attached to wood blocks. They can be found on Dead Forest biomes, about 14-20 blocks above the ground. For more information, view the Burnt Tree page.
Note: Each Upgrading Rune has its material on the texture. The image bellow showcases a Diamond Upgrading Rune.
Upgrading runes can be used in combination with a Slate Altar to upgrade the materials of fully repaired tools and swords. There are 9 types of upgrading runes - Copper, Iron, Bronze, Gold, Diamond, Platinum, Manasteel, Elementium, and Terrasteel. The first 6 can be used with any tier of a Slate Altar while the latter 3 require an Advanced Slate Altar.
To use them, simply place one of them in the center of a Slate Altar and right-click with your tool or sword of choice. If you are using the right material and the tool or sword is fully repaired, its material should ne changed. Stone tools/swords can be used with Copper, Iron, Bronze, or Manasteel Upgrading Runes. Copper tools/swords can be used with Gold Upgrading Runes Iron tools/swords can be used with Diamond Upgrading Runes Bronze tools/swords can be used with Platinum Upgrading Runes Manasteel tools/swords can be used with either Elementium or Terrasteel Upgrading Runes
This block was planned to be used as a way to cast "spells" quickly. Those "spells" would be things like summoning the wither, opening a portal to other dimensions, removing warp, etc.
It was never finished and it currently exists only as a decorative block.
They spawn in the Nether, from Y:15 to Y:125
History ores have a small chance (1%) to drop each lore page.
