Streamyard

To go live, please ensure the following is completed 10 minutes before going live:

  1. On Discord #events-discussion, share the message:

    @ping-events we are going live [discord timestamp]: [youtube link]

    You can generate a "relative timestamp" at https://discordtimestamp.com/
    The YouTube link is available in Streamyard.

Before the event goes live:

  1. Ensure your audio and video works and the 'Brand' is set to 'This Week in Svelte'; understand the queues and host conduct

When you're ready to go live:

  1. Use the 'This Week in Svelte' logo overlay
  2. Mute your microphone (remember to UNMUTE after!)
  3. Start the 'daydream' song, with 'fade in and out' enabled, and play for about 15 seconds
  4. Pause the song, unmute, introduce yourself, and get on with the show

When the show is about to end:

  1. Display the 'Thank you' overlay
  2. Unpause the 'daydream song', and play for about 15 seconds
  3. STOP the livestream on the top-right
