how to make a new edition

In this page we document the process of adding a new edition to the publications pipeline.

basics

• ensure text is complete, ready, and published via Bilara
• ensure comments, if any, are published
• ensure metadata is correct and complete

adding edition

• add "is_published": true to bilara-data/_publication-v2.json.
• make sure any matter is added to relevant folder and included in metadata
• define colors in publications/sutta_publisher/src/sutta_publisher/templates/tex/cover both in /background and /individual.

matter

• make sure matter is formatted correctly as HTML

cover

• ensure cover image is present
• ensure cover colors are defined

testing

• run the publisher
• check that all files are produced and correct
• check that the web interface is present and correct
