how does custom recurring work?

Hi!

I am trying to add an event which recurs every two weeks. When I select "custom", nothing happens, there seems to be no way to specify the custom recurrence.
Or alternativly, could I somehow (in my childs theme functions.php) add every two weeks as an dropdown option?
