Hi all!

I'm Dan and I work on all sorts of projects. I spent the majority of my time in grad school working on the open-source Drasil framework for Software Generation. I've also worked on a number of side gigs for game development or research projects.

I've worked as an educator for years and want to contribute what I can to furthering open education and open source projects that help to educate (like freeCodeCamp and the like). I like to work on JS libraries and web tech in my free time. I'm also big on optimization and performance, so anything that can help computers or people be more efficient is something that speaks to me.

Most of my contributions of late have been to private repositories, unfortunately, as those were the paying gigs. I'd like to be able to contribute to more public, open-source projects and that's why I'm hoping to get a few sponsors. That would allow me to keep devoting some of my time to open-source software and, hopefully, eventually transition much more of my time into the open-source space.
