I wake up every day excited to work on creating solutions for problems that exist, and inventing new solutions to problems soon to be. I enjoy giving back to the open source community as it has done so much for me over the last 20+ years.

I am from and live in California, USA -- not wanting to leave even with our high costs of living and taxes. It's a melting pot of creativity and mindshare; not to mention it's beautiful here.

I am actively involved in a variety of hobbyist projects, such as ADSBExchange and Airframes, and some gutsy open-source projects, such as Boxel (recipe-driven embedded operating system based on Linux and Docker), and communities like Tezos (blockchain of the future).
