I'm a fairly active Rust developer and spend most of my open source time in three areas.
One area is the libraries and applications I've written, most notably a netlink library for communicating with the kernel. The netlink library started as a way to dive into Rust the hard way and now seems to have a decent number of users.
Another area is adding support for Rust in the Linux kernel. I've spent some time working on out of tree Rust builds and have contributed some to the kernel API.
I also am a developer for Stratis Storage, an open source volume manager with an emphasis on ease of use.
