Programmable Thoughts was originally conceived as a quick-entry thought organizer that could be tweaked to personal needs. The core concept relies on the ability to quickly offload thoughts so you can process them later in your email inbox. But being essentially a simple voice/touch interface to Google Apps Script, it could really be a lot of things:

• Writing organizer
• Home automation controller
• Thought and mood journal
• Task manager
• Cognitive behavioral therapy tool
• Integrated with IFTTT or Zapier
• etc.

This all started off (and mostly still is) a passion project, and while the operational costs are low, we'd love to be able to devote more time extending both the open-source platform and the related client applications. Some of the more complex work may require outside contributors, and dev work gets expensive quickly. But if you like the concept and our vision, and want to see it grow, every dollar will help.
